Template cloning duplicates your existing template without making any changes to the source template. This can be useful when you want to make changes to your existing template. For example, when you have a template, and now you want a add few new conditions and modify data mapping - you duplicate the template with cloning, introduce the changes and test the template. Once everything looks good, just implement those changes to the source template. This way, you will not be at risk of breaking integrations already created against the template.

How to Clone

In the Templates menu in your dashboard, you can view all existing templates. When you hover above a template you can view a menu at the top right corner as shown below.

When you click the Clone option, the Clone Template popup appears.

In a nutshell, the duplicated template is the same as the original template. You can edit them as you want and test, later. The cloned template is set to draft by default.

In addition to templates, you can clone apps and activities.
